Shea Butter is a vegetable butter that has been used for centuries because of its excellent ability to protect and maintain the skin, hair and nails.

It is the nut of the Shea tree that grows uncultivated in mostly the West African region.  The trees grow up to 100 feet tall and can take about 30-50 years to reach maturity, however; they bear their first fruits at about 25 years.

Ongoing research is aiming at reducing years to maturity and also to achieve success in cultivating the trees.

SHEA BUTTER IS PRECIOUS TO US ALL, LEND YOUR VOICE WHENEVER POSSIBLE TO SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE BURNING OF THESE PRECIOUS TREES FOR CHARCOAL EXPORT.

This nature’s gift of Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) will nourish your skin, hair and nails.  It is loaded with natural antioxidants (vitamin E) that go after free radicals that attack our cells.

The fatty acids, triglycerides and phytosterols in Shea Butter promote cellular growth.

The Allantaoin in Shea Butter stimulates the skin’s natural renewal process.

Shea Butter also provides protection from UV rays 275nm; and the Resinous Esters provide healing and disinfecting properties.

Shea Butter contains three key vitamins: A, E and F.

Vitamin F is commonly known as a fatty acid.  Its primary function is to maintain the function and integrity of cell membranes.  This vitamin is excellent for unhealthy skin and hair.  It also aids in the relief of eczema, psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.

For your skin, Shea Butter gives your skin that healthy glow and rejuvenated look and feel.

Due to its low fat content, it penetrates your skin with ease without clogging your pores and without build-up.

Shea Butter penetrates deep into the skin to hydrate and promote cell growth.  It retains moisture in the skin lipids to improve elasticity and as a result combats wrinkles and stretch marks.

Apply to the entire body as a daily moisturizer; you will absolutely love the smooth and soft feel of your skin.

Shea Butter’s cell regeneration and capillary circulation activity is great for the healing of small wounds, dermatitis, cracks, minor burns and skin ulcers.

It is the consummate skin care product for babies due to its pure and gentle nature. It is also excellent for senior citizens, especially those with reduced mobility.

Shea Butter ensures continued suppleness and moisture to their skin.

For your hair, Shea Butter, unlike Petroleum-based products will not block your hair follicles, allowing for easy breathing and stimulating growth.

It is also excellent for moisturizing and protecting the scalp, especially on processed and heat-treated hair.

Use as a hair moisturizer and hot oil treatment. To moisturize hair, rub Sahara Sunrise Shea Butter in your palms and apply to your hair wet or dry.

A hot oil treatment with Shea Butter delivers the nourishing ingredients directly into your hair follicles.

For use as a hot oil treatment, apply Sahara Sunrise Shea Butter to your hair, cover your hair with a plastic cap and go under the dryer for 10-15 minutes.  This prevents the heat from escaping and allows the hair follicles to open up and receive the Shea Butter’s nourishing properties.

Alternatively, after you’ve put the plastic cap on, wrap you head with a hot towel for 10-15 minutes.  If no excess, there’s no need to rinse out.  This process conditions the hair and gives it that healthy, glossy and vibrant look.

Use for skin disorders.  When using on your skin for conditions like eczema, psoriasis, chapped or chaffed skin, apply Sahara Sunrise Shea Butter directly to skin and or the affected area.  Also apply to bruises and burns to soothe irritation, aid healing and reduce scarring.

Pregnant women will benefit from using Sahara Sunrise Shea Butter daily, as it will add moisture and elasticity to the skin as it stretches, thereby reducing the marks and itching. For best results use before the stomach begins to swell at least twice a day.

Use for help with razor bumps:  Moisturize your shave area with Sahara Sunrise Shea Butter every night after washing your face with warm water.  This helps to soften and moisturize your hair follicles.  After your shave, rub on some more Sahara Sunrise Shea Butter, this will condition the shave area, help soothe and heal any small cuts and nicks and help with any scarring.

Use for cracked heels and dry cuticles: After every pedicure, moisturize and massage your feet generously with Sahara Sunrise Shea Butter.  Get into the habit of using Sahara Sunrise Shea Butter on your feet everyday, especially at night before bed.

Sahara Sunrise Shea Butter is excellent for waitresses and for people who spend a lot to time on their feet.  It is also great for diabetic patients who tend to have dry feet.

Use for muscle aches and arthritis.  There are anti-inflammatory properties in Shea Butter that help with the swelling and soreness of muscles and joints.
